Since The Blues was the common denominator and impetus for the formation of the Fox Valley Music Foundation, it is appropriate that a section of this website has been dedicated to that genre, even though the Foundation’s sphere of influence and work is intended to encompass all forms of music. That being said, we would like to point you in the direction of the cornerstone of the Fox Valley’s blues scene, which is The Blues On The Fox Festival.

The Festival was stared in 1997 by the Fox Valley Blues Society and is currently celebrating 20 years of providing the finest in live blues music. This year’s lineup, which takes place on Friday and Saturday, June 17-18, 2016 and you can learn more here. The Festival takes place at RiverEdge Park just north of downtown Aurora.

The Fox Valley Music Foundation has created a Blues Month Program. It is a month long celebration of the Blues leading up to the Blues On The Fox Festival.
