What a great collection of music that has inspired artists and listeners, both young and old, for ages now. This collection of inspired songs will be performed by outstanding musicians that will leave the room swept off their feet.
Phil Bertolo… Driven by his life long passion for music, and a family of musicians, Phil set out to form a musical experience for the baby boomers of the 60’s and 70’s who enjoyed the tunes of Crosby, Stills, and Nash.
Born in 1960, Phil grew up during the time of CSN’s rise to the top. While at the same time enjoying the rise of his own step sister “Melanie: who shared the stage with CSN in the 1969 festival in New York known as “Woodstock”. At the time, Melanie was most known for her hit song “Candles in the Rain, and later “Brand New Key” and “Look what they’ve done to my song, Ma” as well as a host of others.
After a lifetime of playing in various bands, writing, producing and operating a production company called “Manor Productions” in Red Bank New Jersey in the 80’s as an engineer and producer. Phil decided to take the biggest plunge of all. In August of 2012, Phil attempted to purchase tickets for his number one favorite band of all time CSN. He soon learned that not only was the show sold out locally, it was sold out nationwide.
Recent contemplation in regard to which direction to go next musically, had just become crystal clear. It was time to enjoy and share what CSN songs has been providing to everyone’s hear for the past 4.5 decades by putting together a tribute show dedicated to the time, the life and the music of CSN songs.
