RATT with special guests Quiet Riot & Downtread
As the story goes, RATT helped pioneer Hollywood’s legendary Sunset Strip sound and scene in the 1980’s. Signed to Atlantic Records in 1984 the bands’ debut album “Out of the Cellar” went over 3x Platinum in 1984 behind the hit single “Round & Round”, “Back for More” and “Wanted Man.”
RATT toured with Billy Squire and Ozzy Osbourne before going on to headline their own arena tours around the globe. World infestation had begun. Since 1983 the band has sold in excess of fifteen (15) million records in the US alone. Their first four (4) records exceeded Platinum status and the arenas performances were selling out.
Quiet Riot BIO
QUIET RIOT continues their historic journey in 2015 with Metal Health founding member Frankie Banali who is joined by QUIET RIOT veteran bassist Chuck Wright and QUIET RIOT guitarist Alex Grossi from their most stable lineup, along with vocalist Jizzy Pearl.
QUIET RIOT is a rock & roll phenomenon. Famously described as the first heavy metal band to top the pop chart at #1 on Billboard magazine, the Los Angeles quartet became an overnight sensation thanks to their monster 1983 smash album Metal Health.
Full contact rock-n-roll: Formed in 2007, Downtread specializes in aggressive riffs, titanic drums and ferociously catchy songwriting. After each glorious assault, you’ll be humming the chorus — even as you’re applying a tourniquet to your wounds.
Riding high on lofty, classic rock vibes (if you dig ’70s and ’80s guitar with a 21st century growl, this is definitely your cup of lava), the Minneapolis group loves to swoop down into the gutter and twist the knife a bit. It’s modern rock with a mean streak.
